A Commitment to Excellence

Improve.IT ensures the cycle of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is followed and provides an excellent tracking system over all the standards. When the Agency (ACSA) visits information is readily available to demonstrate our commitment to CQI. Quality Indicators Analysis can be conducted instantly which provides opportunity to promptly implement changes in resident care. Improve.IT is also a great time saver by reducing the time consuming paper trial. Relevant information eg Incidents/infection and attendance at activities is instantly obtained when gathering data for Care Plan reviews. Human resource management-staff education and attendance data is readily available.

The company provides excellent support when required.

Very Happy

LCC has been using Improve.IT since June 2006. We have been very happy with all aspects of our use of it. Being web based it is very easy to deploy and requires very little technical support. It is easy to use and has provided us with the tools to log, track and report our continuous quality improvement initiatives. We have found Improve.IT staff supportive and responsive to our needs.

Streamlining At Its Best

Improve.IT has streamlined our processes for recording and tracking continuous improvement activities and forces us to “close the loop” by ensuring that we evaluate outcomes before closing issues. Issues just need to be entered once and can be a record of an improvement activity, an agenda item, part of the minutes of a meeting, a to do list, a record of achievements, a continuous improvement plan and so much more.

Nothing Beats It

Improve.IT has improved our quality reporting – it will produce graphs, registers, time charts – everything we need. It has the ability to transform data into reports!

Storage of data? There are no problems because it’s internet based. All our quality information is safe, secure, backed-up daily by Improve.IT, and the storage space is unlimited.

Staff training is so simple and has dramatically cut down our travel time and costs across more than 50 residential, community and corporate sites over 2 states.

Nothing beats Improve.IT.

All In One with Fantastic Support

“Improve.IT has made a huge difference to the way we manage the quality systems in our service. Improve.IT provides a one-stop environment where everything is maintained. It is easy to check on the progress of improvement activities and issues within the centre, it is also a much more efficient way of preparing for accreditation and quality monitoring visits is much easier. It stops me losing paperwork as it is all on the system and can be printed off very easily when required, it reduces the last minute panic of preparing for reviews as the evidence, the evaluation and the milestones are documented, simplifying the whole process and aiding smoother preparation for reviews. Being a manager over two rural sites, the fact that it is a web-based system means that I can access information from either site where-ever I am. The support from the help centre is excellent and always timely. I really think the best attribute of the whole system is the fact that evaluation is built in, this ensures that evaluation occurs.”

Timely and Accurate

“We have been using Improve.IT now for a number of years. It is simple to use, is not time consuming to learn or teach others and information is easy and quick to retrieve. While the benefit of having a reporting system that is timely and accurate is an important factor, the system comes into its own on occasions such as during an Agency spot check: you can go to the program and call up information that satisfies the criteria they are auditing.”

Evidence-Based Information Management and Consistent Best Practice

“In line with the Continuous Improvement System review (including the use of the Improve.IT database incident management and continuous improvement management), our current systems and tools were simplified to facilitate a consistent application of continuous improvement across the organisation.”

Reduced Paperwork By 80% - Data is Never Lost - The Improvement Cycle is Complete

Since using Improve.IT we have reduced our paperwork by 80%. This makes our daily work much easier and whole lot faster as we can get about looking after our residents and consumers knowing we don’t have to handwrite all our notes.

We have never lost any information. We simply search for what we need and it’s there at our fingertips. Prior to using Improve.IT, we spent a lot of time searching through reams of paper and this wasn’t a good use of our time. We now have a full history of our activities and that also makes it easy to compare activities and projects over the years. For example, we can examine any one or more of the accreditation standards since we started using Improve.IT and track changes and trends from year to year.

I am very happy that for all our quality management activities, I know the improvement cycle is properly completed. Improve.IT keeps reminding us to ‘close the loop’ so there is no way for important evidence to slip off the radar.

Since using Improve.IT we have constantly and consistently received an extremely high level of grading from our accreditation reviews.

We love Improve.IT

We just love Improve.IT. It’s just so easy to find things, nothing is ever lost, it’s all there. It has made such a major difference to our ability to demonstrate and track improve issues when undertaking Residential Aged Care and Community Care accreditation processes because we only have to type things in once and can instantly produce reports for an agency.

It’s great and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

So Easy

The Improve.IT program is incredibly easy to use and produce reports. Data entry is completely straightforward and reports are available on-call. I love the fact it compiles all our data instantly!

It has revolutionised our entire knowledge management and data processing systems and we couldn't be without it.

We are very happy we subscribe to Improve.IT.

Satisfaction

Even after a few short weeks, we've found already that using Improve.IT has been very good for us.

It has given us a real sense of satisfaction in being able to record what we are doing when it happens.

Benefits for Contingency Planning

The real benefits for us have been the fact that all the evidence of improvements are in one place. It is also the most significant tool for contingency planning. If someone leaves, the information stays with the organisation. It has been a major improvement for us in collecting our evidence of continuous improvement.

Totally Convinced

I am delighted with the program and am totally convinced that this will capture all continuous quality activities in the centre. The system is only as good as the data entered so staff training is vital. The system is logical, has good visual prompts, and is set up for self-paced learning. I don't doubt all staff could use it.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best CQI electronic tool that has been produced to date.

After days and years of manually writing self assessments from hard copy minutes this is a very welcome change. I am sure any auditor would be impressed with this system and have no doubts that the service is meeting the standards they say they are.

One-Stop Data Entry

The Improve.IT program is straight-forward and easy to use. It has enabled us to monitor our information efficiently, either on-site or off-site, and the best part is that data only has to be entered once, even though we have to meet two different accreditation standards and other regulatory reports.

Weeks of data entry per year are saved and the program has improved our quality system to ensure that all actions are evaluated. It has made such a positive difference to Pittsworth Hospital and Aged Care Facility.

Congratulations to the Improve.IT team for your product and support. We have no hesitation in recommending it to any organisation needing to get through accreditation.

Hope for the Future

Improve.IT is great and the support provided by the guys is fantastic! Our organisation has been through some tough times recently towards meeting the increasing requirements of accreditation. I can honestly say that having Improve.IT in place, along with the great support provided by David and Nick, gave me hope for the CQI future of our organisation. Meeting the standard required by the accreditation process is not going to get any easier and Improve.IT has given me the hope and encouragement I needed to believe that our organisation has a bright CQI future!

Well Done, Improve.IT

In terms of tailoring to organisational need, everyone generally expects it do the basics and then as users become familiar with it, determine what other functionality it could have. I rather like the concept, strange as it is, that a software company would actually listen to their customers and then make improvements based on what they have learned! Take a bow.
